Mailbox Monday-Oct. 12

Thanks to Marcia of The Printed Page for hosting this fun meme that has us list the books that we received last week. You can go to her blog to see what everyone else got last week or to play along. Here is what I found in my mailbox:

The Way Home  by George Pelecanos

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

So what was in your mailbox last week?

If this is your mailbox, my son will be eternally jealous (as my husband is not a Packer fan, sonny boy will have to be an adult before he can have his own!).

Enjoy your new books!

Wow! I received a George Pelecanos book, too. Mine was "The Turnaround," from a contest.

"The Lovely Bones" is a great read!

I read The Lovely Bones when it first came out and thought it was so-so but with the movie coming out I feel as if I need to look at it again.

I really enjoyed The Way Home. It was my first book by this author but it won't be my last. I hope you enjoy it too.

Nice looking mailbox. I enjoyed The Lovely Bones, but I did have to work to get through the beginning. After that I was absorbed in the book.
