Teaser Tuesday-Feb. 12

Check out Teaser Tuesdays from Should Be Reading. TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:

Grab your current read.

Let the book fall open to a random page.

Share with us two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.

You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

This week my teaser is from The Secret of Nightingale Palace by Dana Sachs:
Anna turned over, pretending to still be sleeping.  Sometime later, she heard Goldie say, "I've had my bath and I've washed my teeth."

Thanks for posting this. It was such an intriguing little snippet - it seems so strangely worded - I had to look the book up on goodreads :)

I went to find John Green's first book this week - Looking for Alaska - I ended up thinking about the deeply meaningful too!

I'll read this later for a book tour. Sounds very interesting.

Have never heard anyone say "washed my teeth". Makes me want to read more to see what other words they use that are different from what I'm used to.
