Should Be Reading asks you to share what books you discovered this week that interest you!
Here is what I found this week:
Little Bee by Chris Cleave I heard about from A Bookworm's World. She indicates that this is a very powerful book that everyone MUST read, so I guess I will! I think that this one is only available in Canada right now, which I don't understand why I keep finding those....it's like the book is teasing and taunting me!
The other book that caught my eye is The Kingmaking by Helen Hollick. This book was brought to my attention by Dar over at Peeking Between the Pages. Dar indicates in her review that if you enjoy historical fiction that you should check this one out.
So that is what I found this week. Would you like to share what caught your eye?

For some reasons, neither of these books appealed to me when I saw them. The first, I'm not sure why, but the second, it's definitely the cover. Red and black like that make me think of thrillers, which I never read. Guess I should have read Dar's review instead of just judging the book by its cover!
Hi Jo-Jo!! That caught my eye too. And of course coupled with Dar's review.... yeah.. it is a must read!
Little Bee looks really good to me too.
The cover of Kingmaking kind of turned me off also...I thought it was a thriller at first too!
Wow...my Shelfari bookshelf looks goofy right now!
Oh dear, what happened to it?
The Little Bee sounds great..will be adding that one to my wishlist.
I just went to put Little Bee on my wishlist at Amazon and the cover is different. I like the cover you have posted much better. I wonder if that was the ARC copy.
Bonnie: You are right-I went to check that one out at Amazon and I definitely like this one better also! Hmmm...interesting.
Little Bee has my interest!
LOL! It's true, the covers of both books aren't very appealing at all, but the reviews sound so good!
Hi Jo-Jo
I'm glad Little Bee caught your eye! That cover is the Canadian version!
I just looked at amazon and saw it was released here in the states on February 10th. The cover of it is definitely different and I am not sure if I like either cover, but the reviews have intrigued me. I think I will check it out sometime.
:)

Sounds great. I think Little Bee sounds terrific.
You know if The Kingmaking wasn't such a big, heavy book I would have had a giveaway for it. lol.
