Check out Teaser Tuesdays from Should Be Reading. TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
Grab your current read.Let the book fall open to a random page.
Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
Please avoid spoilers!
My teaser is from Tallgrass by Sandra Dallas:
They were just like Ellis High School kids, talking about movies and cars and how they would spend their wages. Sometimes, I had to stop and remember that they were Japanese and that they lived in a prison and couldn't own automobiles or go to the pictures whenever they wanted to and that most of their pay went to help their families.

Very interesting teaser. Makes me wonder where they are.
I've liked some of Sandra Dallas's books and others not so much. This one is on my maybe tbr list - it seems like quite a departure for her. Nice tease there!
Interesting. It definitely has me curious.
Sort of a dramatic teaser! Makes me want to know more about them snd why they are in prison.
I've seen several very positive reviews of this one. Not sure if it's one I'd like, but your teasers do make it sound intriguing.
wow that sounds really interesting, great teaser
I just bought her book "Chili Queen" and am anxious to read it. This one sounds like it is set during World War II. I hope you review it. I'd like to know what you think.
Great teaser! This one has been in my TBR pile for quite a while.
This is on my list based on several good reviews I've read. Thanks for the teaser!
Very nice!
